Sales Manager / Sales Engineer

Position Summary

We are urgently seeking a Sales Manager / Sales Engineer for a client based in Dubai, UAE, to lead market expansion efforts specifically in Abu Dhabi. This key role focuses on driving sales and revenue growth through the promotion and specification of UPVC, PP-R, CPVC, and HDPE piping systems targeting significant building and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Expand business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial infrastructure sectors.
• Manage the entire sales cycle including generating leads and closing deals.
• Meet and surpass annual sales and gross margin targets.
• Ensure products are included in "Approved Manufacturer" lists via consultant mapping.
• Conduct technical presentations and seminars to engineering professionals.
• Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authority standards and international certifications such as BS, EN, DIN, and ISO.
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors, developers, and distributors.
• Obtain and sustain product approvals from Abu Dhabi government entities like ADM, ADDC, and Musanada.
• Monitor market intelligence including competitor moves, pricing trends, and project developments.
• Keep CRM data updated and provide regular weekly and monthly sales forecasts.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• MBA or certifications in sales or marketing are advantageous.
• Proven success with major projects in Abu Dhabi.
• Established network of consultants, contractors, and government authorities within Abu Dhabi.
• In-depth technical knowledge of thermoplastic piping materials including UPVC, CPVC, PPR, and HDPE.
• Strong negotiation skills for securing significant contracts.
• Excellent command of English is essential; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license is mandatory for this role.

Additional Information

Applicants must have deep expertise in UPVC, PP-R, and CPVC piping systems. The role requires close engagement with authorities such as ADM, ADDC, and Musanada. This is a full-time, onsite position located in Dubai with major responsibilities focused on Abu Dhabi market expansion.
