- Oversee existing long-term contracts to ensure profitability, adherence to terms, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with both local and global management in the creation and implementation of strategies to drive regional growth.
- Monitor the full supply chain process to ensure timely order placement and full regulatory compliance for each client.
- Develop, present, and execute effective sales strategies that align with organizational goals, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Provide customers with technical insight and product demonstrations, addressing their specific queries and requirements.
- Coordinate with international sourcing teams to supply products, while maintaining existing customer relationships in assigned sectors.
- Prepare comprehensive, accurate sales proposals and quotations tailored to client needs.
- Work with cross-functional departments to plan and deliver sales campaigns for vital partners and suppliers.
- Deliver timely reports and sales forecasts to management, staying aware of industry developments and competitor strategies.
- Strategically target new business, especially in the upstream oil and gas sector, and analyze market trends for ongoing improvement.
- Supervise the Customer Service team and provide support to the logistics department to ensure successful order deliveries.
- Develop account plans for major regional clients and ensure compliance with all company sales procedures.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within Saudi Arabia and adjoining areas (approximately 30-40% travel).
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Petroleum or Chemical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- At least 6 years’ proven experience in sales, account management, strategic planning, and technical sales support, with a focus on the Saudi Arabian market.
- Deep understanding of oil and gas products, services, and the chemical distribution sector.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Valid KSA driving license and Iqama, with eligibility for transfer and no legal obstacles.
- Experience with wholesale, distribution, or chemical sectors is advantageous.
Preferred Attributes
- Self-motivated and proactive in managing business tasks and responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in driving profitable growth and managing client relationships within a competitive distribution environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the capability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Excellent time management, with the ability to prioritize effectively and follow through on projects.
