Sales Engineer

Position Overview

Saudi Gulf Hydraulics Company Ltd. (SGHCL) is seeking a Sales Engineer based in Dammam to actively develop and expand new business opportunities within Saudi Arabia's major industries, including oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, and construction. This role blends technical sales expertise with robust account management and aims to grow SGHCL’s hydraulic systems and industrial services portfolio from the Dammam branch.

Main Duties

• Identify, target, and secure new clients in industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, mining, and construction sectors.
• Maintain and strengthen ongoing relationships with established customers to maximize sales results.
• Create technical and commercial proposals, handle follow-up communications, and finalize orders through to purchase confirmation.
• Advise clients on the best technical solutions tailored to their specific operational needs.
• Liaise with internal technical, procurement, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Consistently meet set sales targets and profitability benchmarks.
• Compile regular sales reports, track current opportunities, and forecast upcoming projects.

Candidate Profile

• At least 3 years' experience in industrial or technical sales roles.
• Hands-on background in hydraulic systems, industrial equipment, spare parts, or technical services is a strong plus.
• Excellent skills in communication, negotiation, and delivering presentations.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English.
• Competence in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM software solutions.
• Possession of a valid driving license and readiness for frequent travel, especially within the Eastern Province.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable engineering discipline.
