Your Role

In this role, reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will deliver clinical, operational, and sales assistance across the Infection Management product portfolio based in Hamilton. You will work within a small team environment, combining hands-on clinical support with sales activities and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers. The position offers scope for career advancement and aims to impact New Zealand healthcare positively.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer in-theatre support and product advice to surgeons and clinical teams.
• Provide assistance with product usage, troubleshooting, and adherence to clinical best practices.
• Support the Territory Manager in planning and executing sales strategies.
• Help identify new sales opportunities within both existing and prospective accounts.
• Build and sustain relationships with surgeons, nurses, and other hospital stakeholders.
• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Infection Management product line, staying updated on competitor offerings, clinical trends, and innovations.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, case activities, and sales data; assist with sales reporting, presentations, and forecasting.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or clinical settings is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High organisational ability and meticulous attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn and grow into a sales-focused position.
• Experience within operating theatres or clinical environments is highly desirable.
• Knowledge or understanding of infection prevention and wound care products is advantageous.
