Job description
Role Overview
The Salaried General Practitioner (GP) will serve as a vital member of the Emergency Assessment and Access Services within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). This role involves providing primary medical care to patients who either self-refer or are directed from the Emergency Department (ED) or NHS 111.
Responsibilities
Each GP will be tasked with delivering excellent primary care to patients referred to the UTC. The post holder will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to proactively identify and address patients’ ongoing healthcare needs, crafting suitable care plans focused on safe, effective, and patient-centred medical services.
Working Hours
The available shifts include Saturday from 3pm to 10pm (two vacancies), Sunday from 8am to 2pm, and Sunday from 3pm to 10pm.
