Position Summary

The Route Driver operates company vehicles along assigned routes to deliver products and services while managing vending and related equipment. Acting as the company's representative, this role requires maintaining a professional demeanor and cultivating strong relationships with clients and customers. This position presents significant growth opportunities leading to entry-level management roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate inventory management and product delivery for vending machines.
  • Conduct product rotation to maintain freshness at client sites.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and promptly address client concerns or product inquiries.
  • Set up merchandise and promotional displays to support sales.
  • Handle all documentation including receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, and cash transactions responsibly.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' driving experience.
  • Possession of a valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license (or as dictated by state regulations) with a demonstrated commitment to safe vehicle operation.
  • At least one to two years in customer service or related roles preferred.
  • Ability to proficiently use handheld computer devices; training will be provided.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to operate or learn to use material handling equipment such as box trucks and handcarts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage assigned routes with minimal supervision.

Working Hours & Location

This full-time position operates Monday through Friday with an early morning start and occasional weekend shifts. The primary work location is Canteen at 1491 Quality Way, Tallahassee, FL 32303. Online applications are accepted exclusively.
