Room Attendant

Overview

This role requires a dedicated individual fluent in English with a minimum of a secondary school diploma or equivalent experience. Candidates should have between 2 to 3 years of experience and be available for on-site work at a hotel, motel, or resort environment, with provided staff accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Vacuuming carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture thoroughly.
• Making beds and changing linens regularly.
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Disinfecting operating rooms and other designated areas.
• Collecting debris and emptying trash containers appropriately.
• Performing light housekeeping and general cleaning tasks.
• Washing windows, walls, and ceilings as required.
• Addressing and resolving customer complaints or concerns professionally.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
• Capability to work efficiently under pressure and manage physically demanding tasks.
• Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking involved.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
