Role overview
This 12-month remote contract role is for an Operations Program Manager supporting 3P Retail repair and maintenance programs, along with supply fulfillment and warehouse operations across North America. The position may extend beyond the initial term.
In this role, you will coordinate day-to-day execution with warehouse agencies and service partners, keep performance on track, and help improve how work is delivered. You’ll also ensure materials, records, and service outcomes align with business expectations.
The job suits a practical operations professional who has handled retail operations, vendor or 3PL relationships, repair and maintenance workflows, warehouse execution, and process improvement work. You will work closely with internal teams and outside partners to manage execution, address escalations, maintain compliance, and support scalable operational change.
What you will do
- Run daily operations with warehouse agencies and service partners across North America, with attention to quality, timing, compliance, and service levels.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions, identify recurring non-compliance patterns, verify documentation accuracy, and keep audit preparation on track.
- Turn improvement learnings into standard operating procedures, training resources, and repeatable workflows.
- Improve repair, maintenance, and warehouse processes to strengthen efficiency, space use, cost control, and operational consistency.
- Work with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to clear material, shipping, and service issues.
- Partner with Physical Merchandising, Field Merchandising, Demo Technology, Retail Sales, Finance, Procurement, external agencies, and retail partners.
- Help support new product launches, retail refresh work, operating expense planning, scaling initiatives, special projects, and occasional extended operating hours.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of project or program management experience in retail operations, supply chain, logistics, or a similar field.
- At least 3 years of experience in repair and maintenance operations, supply fulfillment, warehouse operations, vendor management, or 3PL management.
- Background supporting big-box retail settings, retail field operations, or multi-site retail execution.
- Strong vendor management experience, including RFPs, SLAs, contracts, scorecards, escalation handling, and service reviews.
- Excellent organization, writing, and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfort using Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work across functions with internal teams, outside agencies, and retail partners.
- Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada as business needs require.
- Availability during either 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM CST.
- Preferred experience in consumer electronics, technology retail, or a related industry.
- Preferred Six Sigma, PMP, or similar process improvement/project management certification.
