Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental properties. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks including move-in/move-out cleans, turnover cleans, and ensuring properties are ready for listing. The candidate must be experienced, self-driven, and capable of working independently, following detailed cleaning checklists, documenting completed work with photos and notes, and identifying any property issues requiring further action before listings, showings, or tenant move-in.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct cleaning appointments at residential rental homes, preparing them for occupancy or listing.
• Perform thorough cleaning of all key areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and appliances.
• Remove debris, dust, dirt, leftover items, and garbage as necessary.
• Wipe and sanitize surfaces such as counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean inside appliances when required, such as refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
• Identify and report areas needing extra cleaning, maintenance, repairs, or junk removal.
• Capture clear before-and-after images and videos of cleaned properties.
• Submit detailed updates including notes, photos, and videos post-visit.
• Communicate professionally with landlords, applicants, tenants, and internal teams.
• Adhere strictly to provided instructions, cleaning checklists, property access protocols, and appointment details.

General Cleaning Tasks May Include

• Move-in and move-out cleaning
• Rental turnover cleaning
• Deep cleaning services
• Kitchen, bathroom, and appliance cleaning
• Floor care, dusting, cabinet, drawer, window sill, and baseboard cleaning
• Garbage removal and light debris clearance
• Listing preparation to ensure readiness for photography, showings, inspections, and occupant move-in

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning roles such as residential cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or similar positions.
• Solid understanding of residential cleaning standards and practices.
• Access to reliable transportation and necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each job.
• Comfortable working independently at multiple residential rental properties.
• Own a smartphone with a high-quality camera (iPhone 13 or equivalent) to take clear photos and videos of the work performed.
• Ability to compose clear written notes and reports following each assignment.
• Professional demeanor with punctuality, reliability, and strong attention to detail.
• Capable of closely following cleaning checklists, instructions, and access information.
• Respectful and effective communication with landlords, tenants, applicants, and team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning specifically.
• Knowledge of cleaning preparation for photoshoots, inspections, and showings.
• Ability to detect damage, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access challenges or unsafe situations.
• Experience conducting fieldwork independently for a property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services provider.
