Role Overview

The Reservation Agent will closely collaborate with the Reservations Supervisor to enhance the performance of the reservation team. Their key objective is ensuring strict compliance with all standard operating procedures while maintaining and improving reservation practices to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all SOPs within the reservations team.
• Support accurate and efficient management of guest reservations to optimize customer experience.
• Monitor daily guest arrivals and communicate guest requests appropriately.
• Manage inventory, including room allotments, group blocks, and rate codes across reservation systems.
• Aid the Reservations Manager in upselling initiatives to increase property revenue.
• Optimize the use of distribution channels such as Internet Booking Engine (IBE), Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Tour Operators, Small Luxury Hotels, and Regional/Corporate Sales Offices.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience and familiarity with hotel operational technologies including Opera Cloud and RMS.
• Comprehensive understanding of various distribution platforms and channels.
• Awareness of the regional and local market dynamics, competitors, and destination-related events.
