About the Role

If you have experience with reporting or data visualization and want to advance your career in healthcare technology, this position is for you. No previous experience with Epic or electronic health records is necessary as comprehensive training will be provided. Our dynamic team combines expertise from clinical, consulting, delivery, technology, and operations areas to build state-of-the-art EHR and analytics services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop solutions using Epic data sources, including raw extracts and building visual reports and dashboards from Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Evaluate and streamline reporting inventory by consolidating or decommissioning outdated reports.
Use SQL to create and modify reports, distributing data to users and external vendors.
Extract data from Epic systems utilizing approved business intelligence tools and SQL queries.
Support Epic system upgrades and updates as a reporting analyst focused on Epic Clarity data models.
Configure, test, and validate Epic foundation reports and dashboards released by Epic.
Review peer-generated reports to ensure accuracy and optimize performance.
Create new reports through third-party reporting software to visualize Epic data.
Communicate complex data and logic effectively to report users.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience creating reports and data visualizations.
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server or comparable relational databases.
Ability to troubleshoot report-related technical issues, including script debugging and database problem solving.
Experience facilitating meetings and using feedback for continuous reporting improvement.
Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Preferred Skills and Background

Academic background in Data Analytics, Business Analysis, or related fields is advantageous.
Certifications such as Epic modules, SQL Server, or proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Project, or Visio are beneficial but not mandatory.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or similar technologies adds value.
Expertise in gathering and documenting business requirements is a plus.

Work Conditions and Additional Information

Upon joining, you will undergo initial training which may require adjusted working hours dependent on the trainer's availability. Post-training, standard local working hours apply with occasional flexibility for collaboration with US clients.

Our hybrid work model allows employees based in the Republic of Ireland the option to split work time between the Letterkenny office and remote telecommuting.
