Job description
Role Overview
As a Rehabilitation Consultant at APM WorkCare, you will play a pivotal part in helping individuals regain their confidence, independence, and optimism after injury or illness. Your work will involve closely supporting clients as they recover, transition back to work, and reconnect with key aspects of their lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients both face-to-face and virtually to identify their objectives and challenges.
- Perform vocational and psychosocial assessments that provide meaningful insights.
- Offer counselling to strengthen clients' resilience and readiness for employment or daily activities.
- Develop realistic return-to-work strategies involving clients, employers, and healthcare collaborators.
- Recognize and celebrate clients’ progress, whether minor achievements or significant milestones.

Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a degree in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Exercise Physiology.
- Current full registration with ESSA or AHPRA.
- Successful completion of a national criminal background check prior to employment commencement.
- Valid Working With Children Check.
- Eligibility to work legally in Australia.
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence.
