Key Responsibilities

• Ensure and advance quality standards, processes, and methods collaboratively with departments to continuously enhance products and workflows while preventing defects early.
• Play a key role in analyzing and improving product and process quality.
• Act as a knowledgeable contact for customers, suppliers, and internal parties regarding quality-related matters.
• Investigate internal quality issues and complaints, prepare reports and documentation, initiate corrective measures with relevant teams, organize quality meetings, and verify effectiveness of solutions.
• Process supplier returns and analyze them to assess supplier performance (OTQ).
• Conduct technical inspections of assemblies at suppliers and support supplier qualification.
• Actively apply quality standards such as FMEA within development projects.

Required Qualifications

• Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or equivalent technical education plus further training.
• Experience in quality management, assurance, or related roles within manufacturing, preferably in machinery or plant engineering sectors.
• Familiarity with relevant quality management standards and methodologies including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, audits, root cause analysis, FMEA, and 8D problem solving.
• Strong analytical skills combined with structured, solution-focused working style.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills for interaction with departments, clients, and suppliers.
• High self-motivation and initiative to sustainably enhance processes and quality standards.
• Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
