About the Role

This position is for a careful and well-organized Quality Data Entry Clerk who will help protect the accuracy and completeness of quality records in a manufacturing setting. The role centers on entering dimensional inspection results and related quality information into the ERP system, helping the company meet customer expectations and compliance standards. It is a strong opportunity for someone looking to build experience in quality assurance and manufacturing administration.

Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have a high school diploma or GED. Prior experience in data entry, clerical work, or administrative support is helpful but not required. Good computer skills are important, especially with Microsoft Office, along with the ability to learn ERP software quickly. The role also calls for strong attention to detail, accurate typing, basic math ability, solid organization, and the skill to manage several priorities at once. Clear communication is important. Experience in manufacturing, familiarity with quality paperwork, and exposure to engineering drawings or dimensional measurements would be an advantage. Basic familiarity with manufacturing systems and quality standards will also help.

Responsibilities

• Enter dimensional inspection results into the ERP system using inspection reports and manufacturing records as the source.
• Cross-check entered information against the original documents to confirm accuracy and traceability.
• Examine inspection paperwork for missing or incomplete details and alert the Quality team when issues are found.
• Update and preserve electronic quality records according to internal procedures and document retention rules.
• Help sort, scan, file, and manage quality documents so audit and traceability needs are met.
• Support product traceability by linking inspection records correctly to work orders and part numbers.
• Spot discrepancies or documentation mistakes and report them to the Quality department for correction.
• Protect confidential customer and company information at all times.
• Follow AS9100 quality requirements and company policies to maintain compliance.
• Keep the workspace neat and orderly to support safety and productivity.
• Provide additional administrative support to the Quality department as needed.
