Role Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requests, RFQs, and tender documents to grasp project demands.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings to determine required products and technical specifications.
- Develop precise techno-commercial quotations, bills of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates for industrial entrance products, such as rolling shutters, sectional doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers, and associated items.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Design, Production, and Procurement teams for resolving technical queries and cost assessments.
- Meet customer deadlines by ensuring punctual submission of quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals.
- Assess project details, note deviations, and suggest appropriate product solutions.
- Evaluate competitor products and support pricing strategies to enhance order win rates.
- Maintain comprehensive records of quotations, tenders, and proposal documents within ERP/CRM platforms.
- Offer technical assistance to Sales during customer interactions, bid clarifications, and negotiations.
- Strive continuously to improve quotation precision, response time, and overall proposal quality, safeguarding company profitability.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Possesses 2 to 5 years of experience in proposal engineering, tendering, estimation, or techno-commercial quotation preparation related to industrial or engineered products.
- Capable of interpreting engineering and architectural drawings proficiently.
- Has a sound comprehension of costing, BOQ formulation, and quotation workflows.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and ERP systems.
- Exhibits strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and coordination abilities.
