Proposal and Contracts Specialist

Role Overview

This position offers a 6+ month contract opportunity as a Proposal and Contracts Specialist, available either remotely or onsite in Raleigh, NC. The specialist will oversee the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) and contract management process specifically for clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of RFPs related to clinical research projects.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
• Prepare, revise, and manage proposals and related budgets accurately.
• Secure pricing quotes and draft contracts utilizing standard templates.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Maintain and update proposal and contract tracking systems to monitor ongoing progress.
• Serve as a liaison between internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Languages, or a corresponding blend of education and experience.
• Prior experience supporting projects, finance, contracting, or proposal development within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or a related sector.
• Familiarity with core principles of proposal and contract management including contractual terms, pricing models and tools, and relevant data management systems such as Salesforce.
• Excellent analytical prowess combined with strong organizational, time management skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
