Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a competent and enthusiastic Project Manager to direct the deployment of VariFlight's system solutions. This position demands strong leadership, robust project management skills, effective stakeholder communication, and frequent travel to client sites. You will oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales activities by collaborating with sales teams to understand client needs and tailor appropriate solutions.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ current systems, infrastructure, and API integrations.
• Deliver engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations to potential clients.
• Analyze clients' IT environments to detect gaps and performance issues, providing comprehensive technical recommendations.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans outlining scope, schedules, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Lead diverse project teams across technical, sales, and support functions to achieve project goals.
• Maintain clear communication with clients as the main contact point, providing updates and addressing feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise solution implementations to ensure projects meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
• Manage potential risks proactively by creating mitigation strategies and keeping risk registers current.
• Travel regularly to client locations to support project activities and gain firsthand understanding of client needs.
• Prepare and maintain thorough project documentation and reports, communicating progress to senior management in both English and Mandarin.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• At least 5 years' project management experience, preferably in aviation or technology sectors.
• Successful history of managing complex projects and leading multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of aviation systems and airport operations is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication skills in English (written and spoken), with ability to travel frequently and work onsite.
• Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent credentials.
• Experience applying agile project management principles.
• Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements.
• Additional language proficiency is a bonus.
