About the Role
Volt is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in Spokane, WA. This is a contingent full-time position lasting over 12 months with a hybrid onsite work schedule. The Project Coordinator will collaborate closely with Project Managers, supporting all phases of project management including initiation, planning, execution, and closure within a technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with Project Managers, assisting in every phase of project management.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and project resources.
- Serve as a liaison between business management, staff, and project teams.
- Communicate project progress to various business units and project groups.
- Prepare and assist in delivering project status reports, including presentations at monthly Steering Committee meetings.
- Identify, track, and resolve project issues to maintain progress and results.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
- Solid understanding of project lifecycle processes.
- Experience managing or supporting Applications projects is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning.
- Hands-on experience with project management activities throughout all phases in a technical setting.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Proven ability to monitor and address project issues effectively.
- Good interpersonal skills and comfort with ambiguous situations.
- Background in financial forecasting and budgeting is advantageous.
- Exceptional customer service and communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with Computer Associates Clarity PPM tool is a plus.
- Certifications such as CAPM or PMP are strongly desired.
Compensation and Benefits
- The pay range for this role is $35 to $45 per hour, with the exact amount based on education, experience, location, duties, and certifications.
