Program Manager, TikTok Program Management Office

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced program manager to join TikTok's Program Management Office (PMO) team, tasked with overseeing and strategizing vital business projects company-wide. The role demands a proactive, self-starting professional with a strong foundation in project management and the ability to coordinate various stakeholders across functions and geographic locations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring synchronized objectives, plans, and outcomes across global business and PMO teams.
• Define project scopes and establish performance benchmarks aligned with enterprise strategies.
• Manage comprehensive project timelines, maintain master calendars, manage work-back schedules, record meeting details, and track critical project documentation.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, blockers, and dependencies to safeguard timely delivery.
• Strategically prioritize tasks and escalate issues promptly to leadership when necessary.
• Develop and nurture strong organizational relationships, acting as the focal contact point for internal teams and selected external partners.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
• Proven extensive experience in project or program management roles within dynamic environments.
• Demonstrated capability in concurrently managing multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives from start to finish.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Superior written and verbal communication proficiency.
• Ability to coordinate and align diverse stakeholders toward shared goals.
• Preferred qualifications include an MBA or similar advanced degree, experience within large global technology companies, familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile or PMP, multi-regional project management exposure, and skills in supporting executive-level decisions with data-driven insights.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position in San Jose, CA, is between 132000 and 216000 USD per year, subject to qualifications and location. Compensation includes base salary, possible bonuses, incentives, and stock units. Benefits begin on day one and include comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid parental leave, disability and life insurance, wellness programs, along with paid holidays, sick days, and personal time off. The company may revise benefits at its discretion.
