Role Overview
We are inviting applications for a Production Scientist to join the Native Antigen Company Production Team based in Kidlington, Oxford. This role offers the opportunity to engage with innovative R&D and manufacturing functions, contributing to pioneering scientific projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production activities including large-scale cultivation of viruses and bacteria.
- Participate in recombinant protein production and purification processes.
- Perform plasmid cloning and bulk manufacturing tasks.
- Conduct nucleic acid extraction and genotyping procedures.
- Manage aliquoting of products and execute quality control assays.
- Maintain accurate stock records and databases.
- Handle receipt and inspection of incoming deliveries.
- Undertake full training to perform all assigned duties effectively.
Candidate Requirements
- Educational background in a scientific discipline or equivalent practical laboratory experience.
- Strong enthusiasm for advancing technological capabilities to improve patient outcomes.
