Role Overview

We are inviting applications for a Production Scientist to join the Native Antigen Company Production Team based in Kidlington, Oxford. This role offers the opportunity to engage with innovative R&D and manufacturing functions, contributing to pioneering scientific projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support production activities including large-scale cultivation of viruses and bacteria.
• Participate in recombinant protein production and purification processes.
• Perform plasmid cloning and bulk manufacturing tasks.
• Conduct nucleic acid extraction and genotyping procedures.
• Manage aliquoting of products and execute quality control assays.
• Maintain accurate stock records and databases.
• Handle receipt and inspection of incoming deliveries.
• Undertake full training to perform all assigned duties effectively.

Candidate Requirements

• Educational background in a scientific discipline or equivalent practical laboratory experience.
• Strong enthusiasm for advancing technological capabilities to improve patient outcomes.
