Role Overview

Located in Cahir, County Tipperary, this role reports directly to the Operations Manager and involves joining Oakpark Foods' management team. The position focuses on overseeing production with an emphasis on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Foster and drive a culture of ongoing improvement within the production environment.
• Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing operations to ensure efficient output.
• Guarantee production meets targeted volume, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.
• Lead and supervise the production team to maximize output and analyze daily production yields and efficiency.
• Assess and organize training needs to equip the team with necessary skills to enhance plant performance.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Logistics, and HR departments to optimize production capabilities.
• Manage workforce scheduling and coordinate with accounts for payroll processing via the HR/Payroll system.
• Engage the team in company objectives and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing programs.
• Ensure strict compliance with company-stipulated health and safety regulations.
• Maintain high levels of hygiene, food safety, and environmental standards.
