Production Executive

About the Role

The Production Executive will oversee the entire wooden pallet manufacturing process, ensuring that production activities align with customer requirements and dispatch timelines. This role involves planning, organizing, and controlling daily operations to meet product quality and production targets while optimizing resource usage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage daily and monthly production schedules to meet delivery commitments.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes from raw material cutting to final pallet inspection.
• Monitor manpower deployment, machine usage, and overall production efficiency.
• Control waste of wooden materials and maximize utilization efficiency.
• Ensure products comply with approved drawings, dimensions, and customer specifications.
• Coordinate activities with departments such as Purchasing, Quality, Stores, Maintenance, Dispatch, and Management.
• Maintain high production quality to minimize rejections and rework.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks promptly.
• Ensure proper maintenance and usage of machinery, tools, and equipment.
• Implement 5S methodologies, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards in the production area.
• Maintain detailed production logs, including daily reports and rejection records.
• Train and supervise production staff and supervisors effectively.
• Ensure adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Collaborate with the Quality Department during customer complaints and corrective action processes such as NCR, CAPA, and 8D activities.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, workforce productivity, and material consumption.
• Ensure timely completion of customer orders as per committed delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting enhanced productivity and quality.
• Report daily production progress, challenges, and achievements to General Management.

Additional Information

This position is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. The monthly salary ranges between 15,000 and 25,000 INR.
