Its platform is designed to reduce expensive, unexpected downtime by improving planning and enabling increasingly automated purchasing decisions.

The core forecasting technology has already been validated, and the next step is to turn that technical capability into a product that customers find genuinely valuable and easy to use.

Role overview

This is a founding product management position with significant independence, direct collaboration with the founders, and influence over both the roadmap and the long-term direction of the business. The role sits between advanced AI/technical capability and customer-facing usability, with close work across engineering and customer conversations.

Key responsibilities

You will lead product planning from end to end, align technical limits with business goals and customer needs, and work closely with engineering to turn feedback into clear priorities and shipped features. You will also spend time understanding complex industrial procurement processes, including multi-team ordering, negotiation steps, and operational constraints in real environments.

Part of the role includes regular customer engagement to identify pain points and validate proposed solutions. You will need to understand the logic behind forecasting and AI models well enough to review implementations and question assumptions, even without being a data scientist.

Because there is no dedicated product designer yet, you will also bring a strong eye for usability and help shape the product design approach. In addition, you will support go-to-market activities by helping explain new features in customer-friendly language.

What the company is looking for

The ideal candidate brings proven product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, industrial technology, or AI and analytics. You should be comfortable with quantitative and technical concepts, including formulas, data models, and forecasting logic.

Strong commercial judgment is important, along with confidence in making and defending prioritisation decisions. The team is looking for someone who is very hands-on, execution-oriented, and comfortable operating with autonomy in an early-stage, ambiguous environment.

A bonus would be enough technical fluency to make small AI-assisted UI adjustments yourself, with engineering oversight.

The role is based in Berlin, Germany and is a full-time onsite position. The company works in a setting where unplanned downtime can cost more than €20,000 per hour, which underlines the importance of the product’s impact.
