- Gather and prioritize the needs of data engineers, analytics engineers, machine learning engineers, and domain teams to inform product direction.
- Simplify complex platform functions into user-friendly products that enhance data teams’ efficiency and autonomy.
- Lead the development of an Integration-as-a-Service platform and facilitate migration from legacy middleware to cloud-native architecture.
- Collaborate closely with a cross-functional squad comprising engineers, delivery managers, architects, governance experts, and adoption teams that represent user needs.
Additional Duties
- Define and uphold the product vision for BrewDat’s data engineering layer, translating company and data strategies into a prioritized development roadmap.
- Conduct product discovery activities such as user interviews, usage analysis, experimentation, and feedback collection.
- Manage product backlog with clear problem statements, user stories, and acceptance criteria emphasizing outcome-driven delivery.
- Operate within an Agile framework, ensuring synchronization among product, engineering, and architecture teams.
- Establish and monitor product KPIs including adoption rates, customer satisfaction, build and data delivery times, and platform reliability.
- Encourage a culture of experimentation and continuous enhancements within the squad.
- Communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders across sales, marketing, supply, finance, and technology domains to align priorities and share progress.
- Oversee middleware roadmap, emphasize global reliability features, and track integration economics by standardizing costs per application.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in data platforms, data engineering, analytics tools, or developer/platform tooling with backend and infrastructure components.
- Possess a technical background such as Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in engaging with technical architecture, data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, orchestration, data lakes, data warehouses, and API concepts.
- Familiarity with API management, event-driven architectures, and microservices in addition to core data pipeline knowledge.
- Skills in product discovery, problem definition, prioritization, roadmap planning, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with technologies such as Azure, Databricks, Apache Spark, Airflow, and Unity Catalog is advantageous but not essential.
- Understanding of engineering practices like GitHub workflows, CI/CD, code reviews, and Data Mesh methodologies is a plus.
- Background in developing internal platforms or products aimed at developer or data teams is valuable.
- Specific experience in legacy cloud migrations (e.g., MuleSoft to Camel-K), Azure DevOps delivery tracking, and observability tools like Datadog is welcomed.

Passion for the AB InBev culture and an enthusiasm for beer are highly regarded.
