About the Role

At Meta, Product Managers collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising engineers, designers, data scientists, and researchers to develop impactful products. We seek highly effective Product Managers who thrive in fast-paced environments and can innovate and lead product strategies across the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead identification of major short-term and long-term opportunities within a significant product domain; define and drive product missions, strategies, and roadmaps aligning with overarching organizational objectives.
• Build consensus and secure alignment across different teams and organizations; navigate ambiguous challenges by bringing clarity and structured approaches; demonstrate initiative and self-direction.
• Plan, launch, and oversee IT projects related to web-based products, applications, and platforms.
• Incorporate data analytics, usability studies, user research, and market insights into shaping product strategies and requirements to improve user experience and engineer efficiency.
• Steer product development alongside engineers and designers while maintaining team well-being.
• Understand Meta's strategic position and competition, delivering mission-aligned products recognized as industry-leading.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive product missions, define detailed product requirements, coordinate cross-group resources including design and legal teams, develop product roadmaps, and lead teams through critical milestones.
• Establish and analyze metrics to assess product success; identify and monitor key performance indicators; make data-driven decisions based on user insights, quantitative analysis, and A/B testing.
• Optimize productivity in an agile and evolving work environment where creativity and adaptability are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in product management and/or product design.
• More than 10 years collaborating effectively with engineering, design, and user research teams.
• Proven track record managing the entire product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into requirements, prioritizing features, and executing before and after product launches.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical leadership capabilities.
• Experience delivering presentations to executive-level audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating products starting from zero, platform or ecosystem products, or digital marketplaces.
• Background working in consumer-focused technology companies.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance or redesign workflows providing measurable benefits such as increased efficiency or quality improvements.
• Knowledge and application of responsible and ethical AI practices including risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality and accuracy reviews.
• Continuous AI skill development including prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and keeping current on evolving AI technologies.

Compensation

The estimated base salary ranges from $205,000 to $277,000 annually, excluding bonuses, equity awards, or other incentive compensation. Actual compensation depends on individual skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Meta also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
