Role Summary

The Product Manager will be accountable for implementing the product roadmap of key technology products. This includes guiding cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, clarifying directions for development teams, and managing product requirements including prioritization and grooming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of business objectives, products, users, and customer needs to ensure product alignment and value delivery.
  • Work closely with other product managers to strategize the product roadmap, prioritize features, and maintain a well-structured backlog aligned with business objectives.
  • Act as the subject matter expert within the product domain, serving as the primary contact for internal collaboration.
  • Possess a solid understanding of technology platforms, system design, and integrations to effectively partner with engineering teams on scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Create detailed product specifications explaining the rationale and value of features while ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
  • Write comprehensive user stories with acceptance criteria covering functional, non-functional, security, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI design, and other stakeholders to define detailed product requirements.
  • Lead product development from ideation through launch, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Facilitate PI planning and participate actively in SCRUM rituals such as daily standups, sprint planning, and product demonstrations.
  • Utilize analytics and customer feedback to evaluate product performance and guide iterative improvements.
  • Track and analyze KPIs to monitor adoption and product outcomes.
  • Deliver clear, regular updates on product progress and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Encourage a creative and innovative culture within the product management team to differentiate products in the marketplace.

Candidate Profile

  • 7 to 9 years of overall professional experience including a minimum of 4 years in product management roles in technology products.
  • Excellent product intuition with strong problem identification and solution envisioning skills.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, event-driven architecture, and data pipelines.
  • Capability to engage in technical discussions about microservices architecture, scalability, observability, and fault tolerance.
  • Experience with communication or messaging platforms (email, SMS, push notifications) is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Splunk, or ELK stack for assessing system health.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and privacy issues related to communication technologies.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable managing complex situations and ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with successful collaboration at all organization levels.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication abilities.
