Role Overview
We are on the lookout for a driven Procurement Assistant / Inventory Clerk / Supply Chain Executive to facilitate procurement tasks, manage inventory accuracy, and coordinate supply chain operations. This part-time, remote role suits detail-oriented individuals who excel at organizing workflows, keeping accurate records, and collaborating across departments. Your contributions will support efficient purchasing, inventory monitoring, and seamless daily supply chain processes while promoting continuous operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage coordination of procurement, inventory, and supply chain functions to support business activities.
- Support supplier identification, process purchase orders, and handle procurement paperwork.
- Oversee inventory quantities, track stock movement, and ensure replenishment for accurate stock levels.
- Work in conjunction with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams for streamlined operations.
- Maintain precise inventory records, purchasing files, and operational reporting.
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, order statuses, and delivery timelines to facilitate punctual fulfillment.
- Identify and recommend process enhancements to boost procurement and inventory efficiency.
- Compile reports on inventory, procurement, and supply chain performance for management review.
- Lead and support cross-functional, remote teams while encouraging collaboration and guidance.
Candidate Requirements
- Preferably hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent credential.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory control, supply chain, logistics, or similar fields is favored.
- Comprehensive knowledge of procurement protocols, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
- Familiar with purchasing procedures, vendor engagement, stock control, and logistics fundamentals.
- Proficient in inventory reporting, preparing procurement documentation, and operational planning.
- Skilled at analyzing operational data and crafting business reports.
- Adept in juggling multiple priorities and cooperating efficiently in a fully remote setup.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and operational coordination skills.
