Job Overview
This role involves managing customer inquiries, calculating manufacturing costs for new products, and maintaining SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) documentation such as inspection instructions, test plans, and process descriptions. You'll develop and introduce production methods for modified and new products, draft tool and equipment specifications with a focus on process engineering, and lead or participate in related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer requests and calculate manufacturing costs for new product lines.
- Create and update SHEQ documentation including inspection instructions, test plans, process descriptions, and related process documentation.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for modified and brand-new products.
- Prepare specifications for tools and machinery from a process engineering viewpoint, managing or supporting projects accordingly.
- Coordinate and conduct material qualifications together with suppliers and customers.
- Lead the series introduction of new products or equipment.
- Support and enhance existing manufacturing processes through process engineering.
- Plan and apply analytical methods aimed at the description and evaluation of supervised processes.
- Manage projects within the department.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field.
- Preferably, experience in the aforementioned areas.
- Strong expertise in composites and project management.
- Experience in aerospace is advantageous.
- Familiarity with handling and processing composite materials.
- Independent, performance-driven, systematic working style.
- Quick learner with a practical hands-on approach.
- High sense of responsibility, commitment, and flexibility.
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP software.
- Excellent team player and communicator.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
