Private Equity Advisory Associate

About the Role

We are partnering with a rapidly expanding private equity-backed advisory firm known for its excellence and sustained growth recognized by industry leaders. The Associate / Senior Associate will be part of a Cross-Functional Advisory Team that collaborates closely with management teams, boards, investors, and other key parties to provide strategic, financial, and operational solutions throughout the entire business and investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform intricate financial analysis and develop advanced financial models.
• Lead and support various workstreams involving mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, operational transformations, and performance improvements.
• Formulate strategic advice and actionable recommendations for clients and portfolio businesses.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and promote initiatives that enhance value.
• Prepare materials for clients, investors, and board meetings.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with stakeholders to accomplish strategic and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, transaction advisory, or other analytical roles.
• Proven expertise in financial modeling and valuation, including three-statement models, discounted cash flow (DCF), leveraged buyouts (LBO), and transaction analysis.
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and demonstrate executive presence.
• A collaborative attitude and comfort working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
• Requirement to be office-based four days weekly in one of these cities: Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, or New York.
