Position Overview
This role involves working as a Policy Consultant on a contractual basis with flexible weekly commitment ranging from 10 to 40 hours. The position offers remote work opportunities with competitive hourly compensation between $20 and $58.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine, create, and critique policy documents, legal agreements, proposals, and research materials utilizing advanced Microsoft Word and PDF capabilities.
- Offer strategic advice and concrete recommendations on subjects such as regulation, law, healthcare, academia, and finance.
- Perform comprehensive document reviews to ensure compliance with standards, clarity, and conformity with industry norms.
- Assist clients by accurately formatting documents, applying tracked changes, completing forms, and extracting relevant data.
- Work collaboratively with various teams to distill complex information into clear, actionable policies and protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and guidelines pertinent to the consultant's specialization.
Candidate Requirements
- Possess at least one year of professional involvement in government policy-related operations.
- Exhibit high-level proficiency with Microsoft Word and PDF software, including document formatting, tracked changes, data extraction, and comprehensive review processes.
- Demonstrate excellent communication capabilities, particularly in professional written and oral interactions.
- Have proven skills in drafting, analyzing, and evaluating intricate policy or regulatory documents.
- Show the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and adhere to strict deadlines within a dynamic remote work setting.
