Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata focuses on managing student and alumni placement processes by establishing robust connections with relevant industry players such as studios, agencies, and companies. The Placement Executive's duties include facilitating campus recruitment interviews, sharing suitable candidate profiles with employers, maintaining placement records, and reporting on student employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage and sustain professional relationships with industry partners to secure placement opportunities.
• Coordinate campus recruitment activities and interview schedules.
• Provide career counseling and organize placement readiness sessions and workshops for learners.
• Maintain comprehensive placement databases and generate reports and dashboards tracking placement metrics.
• Collaborate with academic and admin teams to align student training with market demands.
• Support students continuously to ensure a smooth transition into job roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in managing job placements including employer liaison, candidate screening, and recruitment coordination.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interactions with students, recruiters, and colleagues.
• Customer service and training capabilities to address student queries and deliver career development workshops.
• Experience in multi-tasking with accuracy in record-keeping and report preparation.
• Competency with basic computer tools and online job platforms; familiarity with CRM or placement management software preferred.
• Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in any field, preferably in education, management, or human resources.
• Prior experience in placements, counseling, recruitment, or talent acquisition within educational or creative sectors is advantageous.
• Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving talents, and dedication to aiding diverse learner populations build sustainable careers.
