Role Summary

This is a full-time, on-site position in Abu Dhabi for a Perfumer who will design, develop, and fine-tune fragrance compositions for personal care, home, and lifestyle products. The role combines creative formulation with technical evaluation, documentation, and cross-functional coordination. You will work closely with product development, branding, and sales teams to ensure fragrance concepts match market direction and brand identity while meeting project timelines and applicable regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The role focuses on creating and improving fragrance blends, studying raw materials, and maintaining accurate formulation records. It also includes sensory assessment, quality checks, and coordination with internal teams to support launches, presentations, and customer-facing demonstrations when needed.

Additional Information

The position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary stakeholders, the ability to manage several projects at once, and readiness to work from the Abu Dhabi office. The ideal candidate should contribute fresh fragrance ideas while helping ensure consistency, compliance, and delivery within agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-oriented communication skills, with confidence in dealing with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Background in quality control, with the ability to assess fragrance stability, consistency, and safety/regulatory compliance.
• Experience in research and development, including scent formulation, raw material review, and trend analysis in perfumery or personal care.
• Ability to support sales and commercial activities through product presentations and market-oriented collaboration.
• Understanding of personal care applications and how fragrance performs in skincare, haircare, and related cosmetic products.
• Prior work as a Perfumer, Junior Perfumer, or Fragrance Developer in a fragrance, cosmetics, or personal care environment is an advantage.
• Training in perfumery, chemistry, cosmetic science, or a similar discipline is preferred; certifications or apprenticeship experience are a plus.
• Good sensory judgment, strong attention to detail, and accurate documentation/formulation management skills.
• Capacity to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, contribute within cross-functional teams, and handle multiple timelines and priorities.
• Comfort with basic computer tools and, ideally, familiarity with formulation or laboratory management systems.
