About the Role
Join ADP as a Payroll Specialist based in Burnaby, British Columbia, where you'll support clients by leveraging ADP's advanced business solutions, enabling them to concentrate on their growth. You will collaborate within ADP's Human Resources Outsourcing team to manage payroll and tax queries from Client Payroll Administrators, ensuring exceptional service that upholds ADP’s reputation and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full payroll processing and audit for multiple clients, scheduling and executing payroll runs following established procedures, balancing payrolls in alignment with year-end requirements, and managing timely submission of all third-party remittances and related reporting.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert by providing accurate statutory payroll tax information to clients using diverse knowledge bases and internal tools to deliver efficient solutions and optimize client services, recommending best practices where appropriate.
- Troubleshoot issues by liaising with internal technical, production, and service teams to find resolutions, contributing feedback to improve products, processes, and overall efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance professional knowledge, including National Payroll Institute (NPI) designation, through continuous learning and departmental training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of experience in Canadian payroll processing and client service roles.
- Proficient in web navigation and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
- Strong communication and analytical capabilities to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent client relationship management skills demonstrating professionalism over phone and written communications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in administration, client service, or human resources.
- Progress towards or possession of National Payroll Institute certification (PCP, CPM), with access to tuition and membership reimbursement programs.

Additional Information
Annual salary range for this position is CAD 59300 to CAD 94800, dependent on factors such as location, experience, and skills. The package may also include bonuses, equity, or commissions. Compensation complies with all relevant wage laws. Specific pay in Ontario and British Columbia reflects vacation and bonus considerations.
