Role Summary
The Parts Manager position, based full-time onsite in the Limerick Metropolitan Area, entails comprehensive oversight of the parts department. Responsibilities include managing inventory levels, organizing stock, and ensuring precise ordering, receipt, and storage of service parts. This role is pivotal as a liaison for internal teams and customers, delivering prompt and professional support, and assisting technical personnel by providing necessary parts.
Key Duties
- Maintain and supervise inventory control systems and procedures.
- Optimize stock turnover to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage and nurture supplier and vendor relationships.
- Handle processing of parts requests, invoices, and related documentation.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date records of inventory and transactions.
- Address and resolve parts-related issues proactively.
- Identify opportunities to improve parts operations and service standards.
- Contribute to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient support for agricultural machinery.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in inventory control and management, including usage of stock tracking systems.
- Strong customer service abilities and a track record of positive client interactions.
- Expertise in managing service parts, ideally within agricultural machinery or relevant technical sectors.
- Background in parts management, warehouse, or store operations, preferably in agricultural or industrial equipment contexts.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and proficiency in basic office and inventory software.
- Effective communication capabilities and skilled in working collaboratively with cross-functional teams onsite.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and readiness to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Formal education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or business disciplines is advantageous.
