Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Estimator to work 2–3 days weekly to assist with our expanding portfolio of bespoke, upscale residential and commercial projects. This role involves collaborating closely with the Director and fellow Estimators, supporting the entire estimating and tendering cycle to ensure precise and timely cost evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Generate cost estimations and take-offs based on architectural plans.
• Calculate material quantities from drawings and specifications.
• Obtain and assess pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Compile pricing schedules, budgets, and cost summaries.
• Maintain detailed estimating spreadsheets and project documentation.
• Guarantee accuracy and punctual completion of all estimates.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is meticulous, well-organized, and enjoys numerical tasks. A commitment to detailed work quality and positive teamwork is essential.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Background in estimating, quantity surveying, or the construction industry.
• Experience working on bespoke and custom-built projects.
• Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Advanced skills with Excel and general computer literacy.
• Strong verbal and organizational abilities.
• A constructive, team-oriented mindset combined with strong personal ethics.
