Role Overview

This full-time, on-site position based in Singapore requires the parcel delivery driver to collect parcels from specified points and ensure punctual delivery to customers while handling parcels carefully and securely. Daily duties include planning optimal delivery routes, loading and unloading items, verifying delivery details, securing proof of delivery, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. The role also involves courteous communication with customers and team members, adherence to company protocols and local road regulations, and prompt reporting of any delivery or vehicle issues. Drivers are responsible for keeping their assigned vehicles clean and well-maintained and assisting with basic warehouse or logistics tasks when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong customer service abilities with clear and professional communication towards customers and colleagues.
• Capacity to handle basic sales-related tasks, including explaining services and addressing delivery inquiries.
• Willingness or experience to learn food and beverage handling procedures if required, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment for loading/unloading tasks.
• Experience in training or mentoring peers, with capability to follow and support standard operating procedures.
• Holds a valid Singapore driving license with a clean record.
• Good familiarity with local roads and proficiency using GPS or similar navigation tools.
• Physical capability to lift and move parcels of various sizes while practicing safe manual handling techniques.
• Dependable, punctual, and excellent at managing time to meet delivery deadlines.
• Basic literacy and numeracy needed to read delivery instructions and complete required paperwork.
