Job description
Role Overview
As an Operations Support Agent, you will be entrusted with managing and sorting freight according to the highest safety standards, ensuring timely and smooth shipment movement within our facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and relocate consignments safely within the depot.
- Accurately label and sort packages to their appropriate delivery zones.
- Collaborate effectively within a team to maintain quick turnaround times.
- Complete various administrative and operational tasks supporting frontline operations including data entry, ramp duties, and dispatch activities.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of secondary education or equivalent.
- At least two years' relevant work experience is preferred; associate level positions require no prior experience, while senior roles demand a minimum of four years' relevant experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and general PC use.
- Strong interpersonal skills and capability in problem-solving.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
