Operations Analyst - Entry to Mid Level

About the Role

Nova Era Industria de Alimentos Ltda is searching for a meticulous and analytical Operations Analyst to join their team full-time in Berlin, Germany. This role is ideal for candidates at entry to mid-level experience aiming to enhance business effectiveness through data-driven process improvements and operational monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data to detect patterns, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce reports and dashboards that inform operational status.
• Review current workflows, providing suggestions for improved efficiency and cost savings.
• Support automation efforts, optimize processes, and foster continuous improvement activities.
• Conduct detailed root cause analyses on operational challenges and recommend practical corrective measures.
• Work collaboratively with teams across operations, finance, logistics, human resources, and management.
• Assist in forecasting, capacity planning, and allocation of resources.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate operational data and reporting systems.
• Prepare presentations and reports to aid management decision-making.
• Facilitate implementation of projects focused on performance and operational improvements.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
• Carry out ad-hoc analyses as needed to support strategic and operational plans.

Qualifications and Skills

• Preferred experience in operations, business analysis, data analytics, consulting, finance, logistics, or related disciplines.
• Excellent analytical abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel incorporating advanced functions such as pivot tables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with analytics tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or equivalent platforms is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage large datasets effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Strong organizational capabilities managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Capacity to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, or closely related fields.
