About the Role

Om Energy Solution seeks a dependable and meticulous Lab Assistant to aid in battery testing, quality inspections, and product development tasks. The role involves assisting with maintenance of laboratory equipment, precise recording of test metrics, preparing batteries for evaluation, and upholding laboratory safety and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in testing various batteries including inverter and lithium types, as well as electrical components.
• Accurately log voltage, current, charging/discharging data, and test performance reports.
• Support engineers and technicians during battery assessments and quality inspections.
• Maintain and organize lab tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
• Prepare battery samples for inspection and performance evaluations.
• Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and assist with inventory management.
• Keep the laboratory clean and adhere to safety protocols.
• Report any defective products or abnormal test outcomes to supervisors promptly.
• Provide assistance to research & development and production teams as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Fundamental understanding of electronics, batteries, or electrical systems.
• Proficiency with multimeters and basic testing apparatus.
• Strong observational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer literacy including MS Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation practices.
• Ability to follow directions precisely and work collaboratively within a team.
• Preferably holds a Diploma, ITI, or B.Sc. degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related disciplines.

Experience
