Role Overview
The Offering and Pricing Lead will oversee the commercial offerings and pricing strategies at OMP, focusing on SaaS supply chain planning products and consulting services. This position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to drive competitive pricing proposals and ensure adherence to pricing policies across diverse industries and complex global B2B deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and uphold OMP's commercial offerings including SaaS, services, and emerging solutions, along with associated pricing policies and supportive materials.
- Develop pricing frameworks for new products, features, and services aligned with market strategies and company goals.
- Create and update standardized offer templates and commercial documents to facilitate consistent and efficient proposal preparation.
- Construct pricing and cost analyses tailored to deal size, industry sector, and complexity to guide commercial decision-making.
- Provide expert deal desk support to sales teams during negotiations with precise pricing guidance and commercial insights.
- Review intricate proposals to confirm alignment with pricing standards, contractual obligations, and company strategy.
- Maintain pricing integrity and quality control by monitoring compliance with commercial policies and acting as a gatekeeper.
- Monitor and report on pricing and costing KPIs, assist account teams during contract renewals, and collaborate across functions to enhance pricing, contracting, and billing procedures.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- More than 8 years of relevant experience in pricing, commercial roles, or deal management within B2B SaaS or enterprise software sectors.
- A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Extensive understanding of SaaS pricing structures, contract models, and commercial best practices.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and business judgement skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a methodical and data-focused approach to challenges.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player and independently deliver results.
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with capacity to engage cross-functionally across locations and varying seniority levels.
- Preference for candidates based in Belgium or those willing to relocate, given the requirement for frequent onsite presence at company headquarters within Internal Services.
- Fluent English communication skills.
