Odoo Project Manager

About the Role

Cloudmen seeks an experienced Odoo Project Manager located in Egypt to remotely lead and deliver Odoo implementation projects successfully, ensuring adherence to defined scope, schedule, and budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of Odoo implementation projects from initiation through go-live and post-deployment support.
• Collect and evaluate business requirements and translate them into detailed functional specifications.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outline key milestones, assign resources, and monitor ongoing progress.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among clients, functional consultants, developers, and technical teams.
• Lead client meetings, provide project updates, conduct demonstrations, and manage user acceptance testing.
• Proactively identify and resolve risks, changes in scope, and any obstacles to timely delivery.
• Maintain transparent and professional communication to manage client expectations effectively.
• Ensure thorough and up-to-date project documentation is maintained at all times.
• Track budgets, timesheets, resource deployment, and project profitability metrics.
• Assist with user training, data migration efforts, go-live readiness, and smooth project handover.
• Guarantee delivered solutions conform to Odoo best practices and satisfy client specifications.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of three years’ experience managing ERP or Odoo implementation projects.
• In-depth understanding of Odoo functional modules and established implementation methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong skills in business analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Capability to lead remote teams and effectively communicate with clients.
• Familiarity with both Agile and traditional project management frameworks.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines and meticulous detail orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with an officially recognized Odoo partner.
• Odoo certification credentials.
• Knowledge of workflows in accounting, sales, CRM, inventory, purchasing, manufacturing, or human resources.
• Experience collaborating with clients based in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, or other GCC countries.
• Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or equivalent project management methodologies.
