Job Overview
We are seeking dependable individuals to fill the role of Pallet Repairer during a permanent nightshift schedule in a safety-driven manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for those with backgrounds in production, manufacturing, warehousing, or factory work who enjoy practical tasks involving hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections on pallets to detect damage or loose battens
- Operate hydraulic lifting machinery to safely remove damaged wooden parts
- Utilize pneumatic nail guns to attach replacement battens securely
- Use hydraulic devices to rotate pallets for comprehensive inspections
- Meet production goals while adhering to safety guidelines
Role Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, production, factory, or warehousing roles
- Strong work ethic with the ability to remain motivated in repetitive tasks
- Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and quality standards
- Practical knowledge of hand and power tools, especially angle grinders and pneumatic nail guns
- Ability to stand for long durations, lean, push pallets, and perform repetitive motions continuously during shifts
Compensation and Schedule
- Nightshift pay rate of $46.38 per hour, inclusive of base pay, nightshift, and casual loadings
- Consistent Sunday to Thursday night roster offering stable work hours
