Network and Information Systems Administrator

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Network and Information Systems Administrator to join our IT department at Alandalus Education in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will handle managing and maintaining our technical infrastructure, networks, servers, and enterprise systems, ensuring consistent technical service delivery, optimizing system operations, and facilitating the organization’s digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain company networks and technical infrastructure, ensuring their reliability and stability.
• Administer servers, operating systems, Active Directory, user account management, and access permissions.
• Manage and operate enterprise systems, ensuring seamless integration with other organizational systems.
• Monitor network and system performance, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Implement and maintain backup and data recovery solutions to guarantee service continuity.
• Manage software licenses, IT assets, and regularly perform system updates.
• Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation and provide advanced technical support as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years' hands-on experience in network and information systems administration.
• Proficient in managing LAN/WAN and wireless network environments.
• Experienced with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Knowledgeable in virtualization technologies and backup systems.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English languages, spoken and written.

Preferred Certifications and Skills

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or an equivalent certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Certified VMware Professional (VCP) or experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Working knowledge of ERP, LMS, and SIS systems.
• Experience within multi-branch organizations or the education sector is advantageous.
