Role Overview

As a Nachtragsmanager (Contract Change Manager) at SPITZKE, you will maintain a clear overview when preparing change order proposals and enforcing compensation claims within our construction projects. You will serve as a vital link between the estimating and project management teams. This position is available at our Bochum and Erlensee locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with numerical data to prepare change order proposals and pursue related claims as part of the project team.
• Manage construction processes by consolidating claim bases, calculating contract variations, and conducting negotiations concerning change orders.
• Collaborate effectively with all project stakeholders and contribute to evolving internal standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Completed technical or business degree, master craftsman certification, construction technician qualification, or comparable vocational training.
• Relevant professional experience in change order management, estimation, construction and project management, or related fields.
• Preferably familiar with construction pricing, change order management, and the German Construction Contract Procedures (VOB).
• Strong affinity for numbers, with meticulous and conscientious handling of contracts and billing to achieve economically successful project conclusions.
