Key Responsibilities
- Handle and oversee a complete pipeline of mortgage loan files efficiently.
- Assess loan files to ensure they meet regulatory requirements and are complete.
- Precisely review loan details and enter critical information into operational systems.
- Order necessary vendor services like title reports and property appraisals.
- Gather necessary underwriting conditions from Loan Officers or loan applicants.
- Use FHA Connection to update loan information as required.
- Communicate loan status and pipeline updates to retail sales teams and management.
- Collaborate with various operational departments to create effective workflows.
- Complete all relevant checklists and supporting documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least two years of experience specifically in reverse mortgage loan processing.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Strong proficiency with computers and aptitude for quickly learning new software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent customer service abilities and effective time management skills.
- Motivated, driven, and able to thrive in a competitive and time-sensitive industry.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers an hourly wage between $24 and $30.
- Vacation time accrues per pay period with maximum balances linked to years worked.
- 40 hours of paid sick leave granted after 90 days, complying with state regulations.
