Key Responsibilities
- Conduct water quality analyses to confirm compliance with specified monographs.
- Manage stock control procedures and hygiene audits.
- Identify bacteria and perform microbial limit testing on finished products.
- Undertake microbial analysis of raw materials and conduct growth promotion testing.
- Provide training to analysts and calibrate all microbiology laboratory equipment.
- Perform temperature mapping of incubators and refrigerators to ensure proper functioning.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Stores, and Sales departments regarding product release.
- Prepare batch records necessary for product release processes.
- Perform trend analyses on laboratory result data.
- Collaborate with other departments including Stability, Validation, Quality Assurance, and Registration.
- Participate in relevant microbiology courses related to the position.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support laboratory and company operations.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Life Science degree or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong organizational skills and exemplary time management abilities.
- Capacity to effectively collaborate and communicate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills combined with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven problem-solving aptitude and resourcefulness.
- Ability to work independently, think critically, and remain self-motivated.
- Comfortable operating within a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment and a professional, team-oriented workplace.
