Role Overview

The Mechanical Design Engineer position is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad. The engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and assemblies associated with surface preparation equipment. Key activities include creating detailed CAD models and drawings, conducting design calculations, collaborating closely with production and quality assurance teams, and providing support for prototype development and testing.

The role requires optimizing product designs with a focus on performance, manufacturability, safety, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards. Additionally, the engineer will prepare technical documentation, assist with troubleshooting design-related challenges encountered in the field, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for existing products.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design.
• Practical experience in Design Engineering and Product Design for industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalents.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and tolerancing applicable to heavy machinery.
• Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings, technical standards, and specifications.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within cross-functional teams on-site.
• Preferred educational background is a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Prior experience designing industrial machines or surface preparation equipment is advantageous.
