Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, confident, and engaging service reflecting Farm Boy's fresh shopping commitment.
• Greet and assist customers using established service standards while sharing your product knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Prepare and cut various meats ensuring attractive presentation and consistently high standards for the service counter.
• Stock, package, and rotate display counters and shelves to maintain freshness and quality.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through regular housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing.
• Adhere strictly to corporate policies including Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment handling.
• Coach and support team members enrolled in the Meat Cutter development program to promote skill growth and excellence.
• Carry out opening and closing procedures and assist team members as needed.
• Support leadership with operational tasks such as inventory checks and ordering supplies.
• Undertake other duties periodically to facilitate smooth department operations.

Candidate Profile

• A passion for delivering outstanding and interactive customer service.
• Between one and three years of relevant experience or an equivalent blend of education and work background.
• Ability to work independently with pride in maintaining high quality, attention to detail, and impeccable cleanliness.
• Strong teamwork skills paired with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting quality and service standards.
• Capability to thrive in physically demanding, hands-on conditions including prolonged standing, heavy lifting, repetitive tasks, protective gear usage, and colder workspaces.
• Availability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in French is considered an advantage.
