Role Overview
The Manager Talent Acquisition collaborates with the Sourcing Manager and Talent Strategy Center of Excellence to design regional recruitment sourcing and marketing plans aimed at acquiring talent and maintaining facility-specific staffing levels. Responsibilities include analyzing retirement risks and initiating innovative programs to guarantee workforce stability. The manager uses external market tools to educate facility leaders on labor market conditions, recommending appropriate programs and policies.
They develop and maintain strong partnerships to understand business recruiting needs, establishing effective strategies. Utilizing LEAN methodology, the role improves local and regional recruiting processes and supports nationwide implementation efforts to sustain improvements. The manager works closely with the Talent Acquisition Director to design, implement, and review recruitment operations, maintaining an effective forecasting model to advance just-in-time recruitment approaches.
Networking through industry contacts, associations, trade groups, and employees is key to developing talent pipelines. They execute recruitment strategies, analyze return on investment, and suggest alternative solutions if necessary. The role also partners with HR leaders and HR Shared Services to promote open communication and foster a collaborative team environment.
Leadership and Team
The Manager leads a regional recruiting team ensuring accountability for results and service level agreements. Coordination with other regional managers and senior international management is essential to meet recruiting goals efficiently and effectively.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Expertise with applicant tracking systems and customer relationship management tools required
- Proficiency in AI-based recruiting technologies mandatory
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required or alternatively 4+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience required
- Preferred experience managing teams with direct reports
