Position Overview
The Manager, Planning and Evaluation is a pivotal role that champions the mission of MS Canada by steering strategic and operational planning efforts, ensuring robust performance tracking, and assessing impact. This full-time position requires working 35 hours per week anywhere in Canada, with onsite presence in Toronto, Ontario. Applications are accepted until August 18th, 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the enterprise-wide annual planning cycles, coordinating workflow design, managing data collection, performing analyses, and reporting outcomes.
- Design, implement, and continually enhance the processes and tools used for data gathering, performance evaluation, and impact measurement to demonstrate organizational effectiveness.
- Support strategic initiatives driven by the President's office, assisting in execution from planning to completion.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven expertise in performance metrics, evaluation methodologies, and reporting on impact.
- Strong data analytics capabilities, including data collection, synthesis, and translating information into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Experience leading or coordinating organizational planning workflows, including tracking systems and report generation.
- Excellent skills in collaboration and engaging stakeholders across various teams and management levels to co-develop solutions.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, capable of producing concise reports tailored to diverse audiences.
- A commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility (IDEA) principles applied in programs, evaluations, or workplace culture.
- Capability to manage competing priorities and support strategic projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with the Objectives and Key Results (OKR) framework is considered a plus.
- Experience within nonprofit organizations or health research contexts is advantageous.
- Background in collaborating with senior leadership or executive offices is beneficial.
- Possession of formal project management training or certification is desirable.

- Salary ranges from $68,000 to $72,000 annually.
